This activity is sponsored by 91探花’s Ola Niuhelewai Project. The five-year project (10/1/2020 to 9/30/2025) is entirely funded by a U.S. DOE Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian-serving institutions program Title III grant. The goal of the project is to raise the Native Hawaiian students’ satisfactory academic progress, retention, and graduation by increasing their health literacy through a culturally relevant curriculum focused on the roles of aina (land) and ola pono (personal health and wellness) in mauli ola (well-being).
